Government sector faces human factor data breach issue

According to CSOOnline, 74% reported data breaches in Australian government sector were the result of user mistakes.
The overall number of information leakage due to human error seems to have dropped this year in the majority of industries, whereas the public sector suffered an increase in security incidents caused by human factor. The lack of understanding of processes related to digitalisation among government personnel.
The number of data leakages due to human error went down by 34% in all sectors during the first half of the year 2021 comparing to the previous period.
